Electrical Inspector: The work will involve the inspection of commercial buildings and sites that are under construction or bring repaired, remodeled, or enlarged to ensure compliance with applicable codes, rules and regulations. Candidate must be a Licensed Electrical Inspector in the State of Florida. Registration as a Licensed Electrical Contractor and Licensed Electrical Plans Examiner is desirable. The position is in the Central Florida area.
Responsibilities include electrical inspection to NEC code compliance; quality control; coordination with contractor on verifying compliance; coordination with contractor on verifying circuits and/or as-built conditions; safety; and coordination between contractor and owner.
Building Inspector/Threshold Inspector: Inspects sites and buildings to insure compliance with Building Codes. Checks/reviews building plans for new work and alterations. Processes applications, and confers with the Chief Building official on questions and policies and other inspection problems. Confers with contractors, architects, engineers and others regarding construction codes and building plans. Investigates inspections complaints. Coordinates activities with other City/County/State departments and public and private agencies.
Education/Experience: Five (5) years experience as a building inspector. Must be licensed as a Standard Building Inspector in the State of Florida.
Roadway/Bridge Inspector for FDOT projects in the Central Florida area. Must have FDOT experience. FDOT and CTQP certifications required for Earthwork, Asphalt Paving, Concrete, MOT and Final Estimates I.
Senior Roadway/Bridge Inspector for FDOT projects in the Central Florida area. Must have FDOT experience. FDOT and CTQP certifications required for Earthwork I & II, Asphalt Paving I & II, Concete Level I, Concrete Level II (CTCI), MOT and Final Estimates I. CTQP certifications for Drilled Shaft and Pile Driving are desireable.
Asphalt Plant Inspector: CTQP Qualifications in Plant Levels I & II and Paving Levels I & II. Provide resume describing experience and verifiable references. Tampa Area.
